Booster Gold #24
Booster Gold finds himself in serious trouble on this January 1988 cover by Dan Jurgens and Ty Templeton, set against the backdrop of DC's Millennium crossover event (Week 3). The future hero is caught dead-center on the steps of a grand columned building, bombarded from all sides by mechanical tentacles and robotic attackers — making the cover's teaser "A Man's Home Is His Attacker?!" feel especially pointed. It's a striking image of a hero overwhelmed on his own turf, and with a story titled "Betrayal," this issue promises that things are about to get very personal for Booster.
