Booster Gold stands front and center in his signature gold-and-blue costume, fists clenched and star emblem gleaming, as the cover's clever triptych layout hints at the time-spanning scope of "Endgame" — a prehistoric jungle with a lurking dinosaur, Roman soldiers in full armor, and a futuristic cityscape with armored figures fan out behind him. It's a striking visual promise that DC's self-proclaimed "greatest hero you've never heard of" is in for a wild ride across the ages. Writers Keith Giffen and J. M. DeMatteis, with art by Chris Batista and Rich Perrotta, bring their sharp, energetic sensibilities to what looks like one of Booster's most ambitious outings yet.
