Knatte
Knatte is one of Donald Duck's three mischievous young nephews, appearing in Swedish licensed Disney comics published by Hemmets Journal. Along with his brothers Fnatte and Tjatte, he is the Swedish equivalent of Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
From the very first issue of Kalle Anka & C:o in 1948, Knatte has been a fixture of Swedish comics publishing — a Golden Age arrival who never really left. Brought to life by Axel Norbeck and Paul Murry, this enduring character went on to appear across 121 catalog entries spanning an impressive five decades, popping up not only in Kalle Anka & C:o but in dedicated collections like Kalle Ankas bästisar and the Farbror Joakim-focused series. Along the way, Knatte keeps lively company with some of the biggest names in the Hemmets Journal universe — Farbror Joakim, Musse Pigg, Långben, Kajsa Anka, and Mimmi Pigg among them — and three of those appearances have earned key-issue recognition from collectors. Half a century on the page is no small feat, and Knatte's staying power makes this a name any serious Nordic comics enthusiast will want on their radar.
