Walt Disney's julalbum

From 1986 to 1991, Serieförlaget (and later Hemmets Journal) released six issues of Walt Disney's julalbum, a Swedish holiday comic annual. The series drew on classic Carl Barks stories—with Barks both writing and illustrating many entries—alongside newer work from Swedish talents like writer Stefan Diös and artist Josep Tello González. Each issue gathered Kalle Anka, Farbror Joakim, Kajsa Anka, and the triplets Knatte, Fnatte, and Tjatte in wintry, Christmas-themed adventures. It stands as a warm, era-specific example of how European publishers kept Disney's duck family alive for local audiences during the late '80s.
