About the series
Launching in 1966, DC’s Teen Titans redefined the sidekick as a leading hero, teaming Robin, Kid Flash, and Wonder Girl for their own adventures. Over its 53-issue run, the series evolved from lighthearted capers into more socially conscious stories, thanks largely to writers Bob Haney and Bob Rozakis, with Nick Cardy’s dynamic art defining the team’s youthful energy. This original run established the Titans as a cornerstone of DC’s legacy, proving that the next generation could carry their own title.
