Teen Titans #34
A genuinely unsettling cover from 1971 sets the stage for "The Demon of Dog Island" — a darkly charged Nick Cardy image showing a wild-eyed Wonder Girl looming over her fallen teammates, arms raised against a stormy, lightning-cracked sky, with a snarling wolf creature at her side and a speech bubble declaring, "It's our own Wonder Girl — and she's turned into a witch!" Robin, Kid Flash, and Speedy lie helpless below her, looking every bit as rattled as readers must have felt. The left-side roster of the team — Robin, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, and Speedy — adds a nice roll-call feel to what is already one of the more dramatically composed covers of DC's Silver Age Teen Titans run.
