About the series
During its 15-issue run from 1976 to 1978, DC's Freedom Fighters brought together a ragtag team of Quality Comics heroes—including the Human Bomb, Doll Man, and Black Condor—repurposed for a new era. Writers Bob Rozakis, Martin Pasko, and Gerry Conway, alongside artists Dick Ayers, Curt Swan, and Ramona Fradon, pitted these patriotic underdogs against threats both terrestrial and otherworldly.
