The cover by Rich Buckler and Jack Abel perfectly captures the series' knack for putting its WWII-era heroes under pressure in a modern urban setting. With "Blitzkrieg at Buffalo!" on the docket and Bob Rozakis writing alongside artist Dick Ayers, this August 1977 issue promises exactly the kind of patriotic adventure the title does so well.
