Wonder Woman #173

Oct 2001 · DC · 2.25 USD; 3.75 CAD
“Amazons! Attack!”

In "Amazons! Attack!", Phil Jimenez pens a thrilling chapter where Wonder Woman rallies the Amazons to defend Earth by positioning their island directly in the path of Brainiac 13’s Warworld. With help from Troia and Tempest, she and Darkseid orchestrate a daring plan to send their foes back to the dawn of time through a Boom Tube, all while the island itself becomes a living shield. The story unfolds with bold energy, rendered in dynamic art by Jimenez and vivid colors by Patricia Mulvihill and Heroic Age, and features a striking cover by Adam Hughes.

To slow Brainiac 13 down, the Amazons place their island between Warworld and the Earth. Wonder Woman helps Darkseid reignite Apokolips, then, with Troia and Tempest, they create a Boom Tube to allow Superman to take Brainiac 13 and Imperiex to the dawn of time.
