Patrick buys flowers to meet Sara at the Empire State Building but drops them in the street when he notices a battle going on at the top. Sara and Patrick battle a powerful demon possessing Jake McCarthy. Sara drives it off momentarily with the Witchblade and Jake shoots and kills himself rather than be controlled by the monster any more. Danielle finds Patrick's dropped flowers and picks them up from the street.
