As the teams clash, Hightower discovers the key clutched in the lifeless hand of Helspont—only to be stunned when Helspont suddenly revives and flees with it. Written by Steven T. Seagle and illustrated by Whilce Portacio, with inks by Scott Williams and John Tighe, colors by Joe Chiodo, Wildstorm Effects, and Martin Jimenez, and letters by Richard Starkings, Albert Deschesne, and Dave Lanphear, the issue’s cover by Barry Windsor-Smith and Alex Bialy captures the moment’s intensity.
