In "The Lone One," Wetworks delves into the aftermath of a brutal vampire clash, where Pilgrim ventures alone into the ruins only to confront a haunting mirror of herself—another version of her from the future. As the vampires crown Drakken their new king, the line between past and future blurs, leaving Pilgrim caught in a temporal rift with no clear way back. Written by Whilce Portacio and Francis Takenaga, with art by Portacio and inks by Scott Williams and John Tighe, this issue features bold colors by Joe Chiodo, Wildstorm Effects, and Martin Jimenez, and sharp lettering by Richard Starkings and Comicraft, all framed by a striking cover by Joe Chiodo and Homer Reyes.
