Venom: Separation Anxiety #1
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis four-part 1994 Marvel series kicks off with a genuinely unsettling premise spelled right out on the cover: Eddie Brock, stripped of his living costume, is completely at the mercy of not one but five symbiotes closing in around him. Ron Randall and Sam de la Rosa deliver a visceral image — a terrified, wide-eyed Brock caught between the black-and-white maw of Venom's symbiote and a snarling pink-and-red creature lunging from the opposite side, tendrils and teeth everywhere. It's a strong opening image for "Apart," promising that writer Howard Mackie is putting Eddie through the wringer right from issue one.
