In "Apart," Eddie Brock finds himself cut off from his symbiote, forced to confront the five other symbiotes thought destroyed—each now free and hunting. Meanwhile, his alien partner is imprisoned miles away, trapped in a facility where Dr. Edmund Zwerling monitors its every move.

In "Lost Souls," the remnants of the Life Foundation's symbiotes seek help from Eddie Brock to regain control over their fractured Others—only to find him unwilling. With no symbiote of his own, Eddie is imprisoned, leaving him vulnerable as his own Venom symbiote begins a dangerous journey back to him. Dr. Edmund Zwerling and Colonel Tang watch the chaos unfold, unaware of what the reunion might unleash.
