Who is Trevor Cole?

Trevor Cole is the human host of the Phage symbiote, one of five offspring forcibly extracted from Venom's symbiote by the Life Foundation. Created as a super-powered guardian for the organization's survival-bunker clientele, Cole and his fellow hosts clashed directly with Venom.

A creature of the early-'90s symbiote explosion, Trevor Cole burst onto the scene in the landmark 1993 debut of Venom: Lethal Protector — one of Marvel's most celebrated Copper Age launches, crafted by the legendary team of David Michelinie and Mark Bagley. Cole carves out his niche in the wild, symbiote-saturated corner of the Marvel universe, sharing pages with Venom, Eddie Brock, and fellow symbiote-hosts like Phage and Lasher across titles including Venom: Separation Anxiety. With a presence stretching across 24 years of Marvel publishing, he's a rewarding deep-cut for collectors who love tracing the full, sprawling family tree of the symbiote saga.
