In "L'angoisse de la séparation, 1ère partie : Séparés," Eddie Brock faces a terrifying new trial: severed from his symbiote, he must confront the five other Life Foundation symbiotes—Agony, Lasher, Phage, Riot, and Scream—now free and hunting. Meanwhile, his symbiote is imprisoned far away, trapped in a facility where Dr. Zwerling and Ken Ellis hold the key to its fate.

In "L'angoisse de la séparation, 2ème partie : Les âmes damnées," the fractured remnants of the Life Foundation's symbiotes—Agony, Lasher, Phage, Riot, and Scream—press Eddie Brock to help them master the volatile "Others" within them, but he refuses. Stripped of his own symbiote and left defenseless, Eddie is imprisoned, while his Venom symbiote begins a desperate journey back to him through the shadows of the city.
