“Sanctuary!”

In "Sanctuary!", Wally Wood crafts a chilling tale of ancient power and deception, as the conquering Hamand unwittingly awakens the spirit of a long-dead druid king within a forgotten tomb. With art and inks by Wood himself and lettering by Artie Simek, the story unfolds with eerie precision, leading to a trap set in the heart of Hamand’s own castle. The cover, a striking piece by Bernie Wrightson, captures the moment of dread as the past rises to claim its vengeance.
