The cover banner says it all — Optimus Prime and Scorponok, arch-rivals, standing side by side against a swarming tide of Unicron's gold-and-purple minions that threatens to engulf them both. Andrew Wildman's cover art captures the overwhelming scale of the threat perfectly, with mechanical bodies packed wall to wall and clawed hands reaching in from every direction. It's a striking image for "The Void!" — one of the final issues of Marvel's long-running Transformers series, and a satisfying showcase for Simon Furman's era-defining run on the title.
