Debuting in the pages of Marvel's The Transformers #61 in 1989 — right in the thick of the Copper Age — Landfill stepped onto a stage already crowded with titans, sharing issues with the likes of Unicron, Optimus Prime, and Starscream. Created by the legendary Transformers scribe Simon Furman alongside artist Geoff Senior, this character carries the pedigree of one of the most celebrated creative teams in the franchise's history. With appearances catalogued across an impressive span stretching all the way to 2025, Landfill may be a rarer find in the longboxes, but that scarcity only adds to the appeal for the dedicated collector hunting every corner of the Transformers universe.
