“On the Edge of Extinction!”

In "On the Edge of Extinction!", the fate of Cybertron hangs in the balance as Unicron's final assault overwhelms even the united Autobot and Decepticon forces, leaving the stranded Neo-Knights and the last defenders of the planet with no hope. Written by Simon Furman and brought to life by Geoff Senior’s dynamic art and Nel Yomtov’s vivid colors, this pivotal issue sees Optimus Prime make the ultimate sacrifice, wielding the Creation Matrix to finally defeat the world-eater. But as the smoke clears, a chilling new threat emerges from the shadows—marking the end of one era and the beginning of something far darker.
