The Hyrkanian provinces of Dimmorz and Balkhana are at war and have both hired foreign armies. Vastly overwhelmed by General Kayde and his Turanian forces, Conan's mercenary army faces starvation in the walled city to which they have taken their refuge. Enlisting the aid of a group of lepers living under the city, Conan's army gets the upper hand and win the battle.
