Written by Gerry Conway and illustrated by Mike Clark, Brad Vancata, Joe Rosas, Mickey Ritter, with inks by Alfredo Alcala and lettering by Diana Albers and Michael Heisler, the issue features a cover by Nick Jainschigg.

Young Conan, the thief, is given a mission that has been the death of many a man before him. Lady Siddhara asks him to steal the healing and rejuvenating red stones from the immortal Ramtha Karn. Conan is accompanied by her bodyguard Palus, who also used to be Siddhara's lover. Trapped in Karns citadel, Conan discovers that the stones feed on human blood. He kills Ramtha Karn by destroying one of the stones.
