“The Gods of Bal-Sagoth”

In "The Gods of Bal-Sagoth," Conan and Fafnir the Vanir find themselves marooned on a forgotten island where ancient gods still stir. Forced to set aside their differences, they team up to survive, rescue a mysterious girl named Kyrie, and confront the treacherous high priest Gothan in a battle to restore her as the goddess and queen Aala. Written by Roy Thomas and brought to life with bold, dynamic art by Gil Kane and Ralph Reese, this issue features a striking cover by Richard Hescox — a 1.00 USD comic from 1976 that captures the mythic scale of Conan’s wilder adventures.
