Conan and Fafnir the Vanir are stranded on the ancient island of Bal-Sagoth in the Vilayet Sea. At first, they are enemies, but they quickly decide to co-operate in order to survive. They rescue a girl, Kyrie, and fight the high priest Gothan in order to restore her as goddess and queen Aala of Bal-Sagoth.
