Conan is employed as a bodyguard by the senile King Gwal of Tranicos. Meanwhile, the Brotherhood of the Falcon are striving to fulfill their goal of killing Conan and sends four lords to take advantage of the king's senility and recruit him to the brotherhood. Gwal lures Conan into a deadly trap, but Conan escapes and takes his gruesome revenge upon the Lords of the Falcon.
