In "The Boon," Conan finds himself torn between loyalty and duty when his friend Aristus, leader of a doomed rebellion, faces execution at the hands of the King of Argos. With the king offering Aristus a final wish—his death at Conan’s own blade—Conan must confront the weight of friendship, honor, and the brutal cost of war.
