Part 2 of the "Jigsaw Puzzle" arc finds Frank Castle in full combat mode on this Mark Texeira cover, bursting through a crumbling wall in his iconic skull vest while trading gunfire with the scarred, stitched-faced Jigsaw looming large in the background. Texeira's raw, kinetic linework gives the confrontation a visceral energy — debris flying, muzzle flashes blazing in sharp yellows and oranges against a moody purple palette. With the series running twice a month in 1990, this issue is a fine showcase for what made this era of Punisher storytelling so relentlessly propulsive.
