The Incredible Hulk #275
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe September 1982 cover by Al Milgrom makes the size problem immediately clear: a massive, stone-textured armored giant called Megalith dwarfs the Hulk, gripping the green goliath in one enormous fist while the Jade Giant strains against the hold with every ounce of his famous strength. It's a striking visual contrast that sets up a genuine underdog scenario — even for someone as powerful as the Hulk — and the bold, crumbling lettering of "The Menace of Megalith!" sells the threat perfectly. Written by Bill Mantlo with interior art by Sal Buscema and inks by Joe Sinnott, this is a fine example of early '80s Marvel doing what it did best: pitting its heaviest hitter against something even heavier.
