Gorilla Grodd, disguised as William Dawson, is released from prison. He travels back to a Gorilla City, transforms back into his gorilla self and irradiates himself with neo-magnetic radiation which makes anyone that sees him love him. After seeing how well it works on his fellow gorillas he travels to Central City and tries to get himself elected governor. Flash defeats him by making use of solar flare radiation.
