The Brave and the Bold #18
In "Threat of the Ice King," the Silent Knight returns in a tale of deception and daring, as Squire Brian, secretly the knight’s identity, faces a trap set by the treacherous Sir Edwin. With the real Silent Knight forced to act when an innocent man is condemned, a daring rescue unfolds across the perilous forest and into the moat, where wet revelations and unexpected heroism collide. Written by Robert Kanigher and brought to life with bold art by Irv Novick—both interior and cover—this 1958 DC classic blends medieval intrigue with a moment of quiet triumph, all in a 10-cent comic that still holds its chill.
