“La guerre d'un million d'années”

"La guerre d'un million d'années" in Aventures Fiction #18 (1970) delivers a frostbitten fantasy adventure as Jon, accompanied by his mute bard, faces the icy trials of the Ice King’s domain. Written by Bob Haney and brought to life with bold, dynamic art by Joe Kubert—both inks and pencils—this issue sees Jon navigating treacherous traps, from two-headed bears to living snowmen, before confronting a frozen maiden and a chilling final challenge. The cover by Joe Kubert captures the tale’s stark, mythic tone, making this a standout entry in the series’ imaginative run.
