The Avengers Omnibus #2 [Second Edition]
In "Never Bug a Giant!", the Avengers face a crisis when Quicksilver escapes Magneto’s grasp just long enough to warn them—only to be recaptured. Dane Whitman steps into his uncle’s legacy as the new Black Knight, but his arrival is met with hostility as the Avengers, unaware of his true allegiance, attack him on sight. Meanwhile, in Olympus, Hercules discovers the gods have vanished and the Promethean Flame is dead. Written by Roy Thomas and illustrated by George Tuska, with lettering by Artie Simek, this story unfolds with tension and mythic weight. The cover, a striking piece by Alex Ross, captures the clash of legends.
