Giant-Size Marvel Triple Action #1
In "Never Bug a Giant!", Doctor Strange’s moment of vulnerability becomes his greatest test when he falls asleep without a protective spell, only to awaken trapped in the Nightmare World. With the malevolent Nightmare confident he’s finally cornered the one hero who’s ever bested him, Strange calls upon the Gulgol—a creature that never sleeps—only to reveal the true power of his mind. Written by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, with art by Steve Ditko and George Roussos, this 1975 classic blends surreal dread with a clever twist, all capped by John Romita’s dynamic cover.

Weary from his struggles against the forces of the supernatural, Strange falls asleep, carelessly forgetting to cast a protective spell over himself, and becomes a prisoner of the Nightmare World! Nightmare imprisons Strange, the only one who has ever defeated him, then says he looks forward to other victims. But Strange summons The Gulgol, a creature that never sleeps, and Nightmare begs Strange to stop it. He does so, without uttering a spell, for in reality, Strange hypnotized Nightmare into seeing the one thing he feared; it was never there in the first place. Freed, Strange wakes up.
