The Amazing Spider-Man #631
Part two of "Shed" finds Spider-Man in serious trouble, leaping through a fiery orange haze while surrounded by massive, snarling lizard creatures that snap and lunge from every direction. The cover by Chris Bachalo (inked by Tim Townsend) crackles with frenetic energy, packing the image with scaly, reptilian menace that suggests whatever transformation is underway, it's far from over. With Zeb Wells writing and Emma Ríos contributing art alongside Bachalo, this 2010 Marvel issue promises a wild, unsettling chapter in one of Spider-Man's more visceral storylines.
