“Character Assassination Part 3”

In "Character Assassination Part 3," Carlie uncovers the shocking truth behind the police conspiracy to frame Spider-Man using spider tracers, only to find her superior is part of the cover-up and has Vin arrested. Meanwhile, Spider-Man, imprisoned and still in costume, is transferred to Ryker's Island, where he must protect Vin from a violent gang—ironically defending the very man who betrayed him. Written by Marc Guggenheim and illustrated by John Romita Jr. with inks by Klaus Janson, Dean White’s colors, and Cory Petit’s lettering, this tense chapter of the Spider-Man saga unfolds with sharp pacing and emotional stakes, all capped by a striking cover by Romita Jr. and Janson.
