Lily tells Harry she will have to think about his proposal of marriage.Carlie confronts Vin about the bag of spider tracers she found under his bed and begins to get a whiff of a police conspiracy to frame Spider-Man. Even though he has been shot, Spider-Man swings out to confront Menace who is attacking another of Bill Hollister's campaign rallies. Menace beats Spider-Man to within an inch of his life and leaves him to be arrested by the police. Harry barges in to talk to Lily about their relationship and finds her wearing Menace's costume.
