The Amazing Spider-Man #531
In "Mr. Parker Goes to Washington: Part Three of Three," Spider-Man takes a surprising turn as he testifies before the Senate during the heated debate over superhuman registration. Written by J. Michael Straczynski and illustrated by Tyler Kirkham, with inks by Sal Regla and colors by John Starr, the issue sees Peter Parker caught in a web of political maneuvering—unaware that Iron Man may have orchestrated the very attack that brought him to the stand. Cover by Ron Garney captures the tension of a hero stepping into the spotlight, just as news of the Stamford disaster shakes the nation.
