The Amazing Spider-Man #513
Sins Past" reaches its penultimate chapter in this 2004 installment, and Mike Deodato and Brian Haberlin's cover captures the tension perfectly — Spider-Man and a black-clad, armored figure crouch amid a tangle of barbed wire and chains while a massive, snarling demonic face looms over them both, glowing eyes burning with menace. J. Michael Straczynski and artist Mike Deodato have been building something genuinely unsettling across this arc, and part five promises no let-up in the pressure. If you've been following along, this is absolutely not the issue to skip.
