About this Collection

This 2013 collection brings together the complete storyline from the Thanos: Redemption limited series, focusing on the Mad Titan's quest for redemption and his complex relationship with his own legacy. Written by J.M. DeMatteis, the story explores Thanos as he confronts his past and seeks a path away from his genocidal nature, featuring appearances by characters like the Silver Surfer and Drax the Destroyer. The volume collects Thanos: Redemption #1-4, originally published in 2013.

In "Epiphany!", Jim Starlin delivers a mind-bending chapter where Galactus confronts his own origins with startling clarity, revealing a shocking method to end his endless hunger once and for all. Thanos, reaching through Moondragon’s powers, catches glimpses of the plan as Galactus triggers a sun’s nova to open a portal to another reality—where a strange fanged skeleton, bearing one of the Infinity Gems, awaits. The story unfolds with Starlin’s signature cosmic scale, illustrated with his distinctive art and inked by Al Milgrom, all on a cover by Starlin and Milgrom.
