Thanos #10
Part four of the six-part "Samaritan" arc finds the Mad Titan front and center in this 2004 Marvel series, with a close-up cover by Keith Giffen (pencils) and Klaus Janson (inks) that puts Thanos's massive, grimacing face in striking detail — half-shadowed in deep blue, half-lit by a blazing cosmic energy that erupts behind a glowing fist thrust toward the viewer. Ron Lim handles interior art alongside inker Al Milgrom, making this a strong creative team for one of Marvel's most formidable cosmic figures. If the cover's raw intensity is any indication, "Samaritan" is building toward something suitably galactic.
