Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures #65

Part 4 of the "Cyber Samurai" arc finds the Turtles deep in some truly wild territory — the cover by Chris Allan and Ryan Brown plunges us into an underwater or otherworldly scene where a blue-gloved figure grapples desperately with a massive, tentacled purple creature covered in a bizarre yellow-and-pink coral-like mass. The sheer scale and strangeness of that creature dominates the image, with mechanical debris and murky atmosphere swirling all around. Archie's Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures was reliably pushing its storytelling into imaginative, offbeat directions in 1995, and this penultimate chapter of the five-part saga looks like no exception.
