Raphael

The Archie Comics incarnation of Raphael is one of four mutant ninja turtle brothers trained in ninjutsu, known for his aggressive, hot-headed personality and signature twin sai weapons. Archie Comics' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures was a wild, ambitious corner of the TMNT universe, and this incarnation of Raphael — debuting in issue #42 in 1993, crafted by Dean Clarrain and Chris Allan — emerged right in the thick of that series' most daring Copper/Modern Age storytelling. Sharing pages with his brothers Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo, as well as the fan-favorite Ninjara, this Raphael exists within a rich ensemble that made TMNT Adventures so beloved by collectors who remember it fondly.
