Michelangelo
Michelangelo is the fun-loving, nunchaku-wielding member of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — a mutant turtle trained in ninjutsu by the rat sensei Splinter, known for his love of pizza and his role as the team's upbeat, wisecracking heart alongside brothers Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello.
Pizza-loving, nunchaku-twirling, and perpetually the life of the party — this is Michelangelo as rendered in Archie's beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures, where he made his catalog debut in issue #42 (1993) under the creative hands of Dean Clarrain and Chris Allan. A Copper/Modern Age incarnation of one of comics' most iconic green heroes, he navigates a wild corner of the TMNT universe alongside his brothers Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello, as well as more exotic company like Manx and the ominous-sounding Verminator-X. Archie's Adventures series carved out its own distinct, often surprisingly adventurous identity apart from other Turtle media, and finding Michelangelo within its pages is a treat for fans who want to see the most free-spirited Turtle in a run that dared to go its own direction. With eight appearances catalogued across a short but memorable 1993–1995 window, this is a collectible slice of Turtle history well worth tracking down.
