“The Incredible Shrinking Turtles Part 1”

In "The Incredible Shrinking Turtles Part 1," the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles take on a bizarre new threat when they encounter a dying alien who sends them on a quest for the lost pieces of the Eye of Sarnath. After securing the first fragment, they’re suddenly shrunk to just six inches tall by Shredder, who steals the artifact and uses it to prove his dominance—by shrinking entire New York skyscrapers. Written by Beth Mitchroney, Ken Mitchroney, and Larry Parr, with art by Ken Mitchroney and inks by Dave Garcia, this 1989 adventure from Archie Comics delivers a wild, high-stakes twist on the Turtles’ usual battles. The cover by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird captures the scale-shifting chaos perfectly.
