In "Where Walk the Villains!", the Dream-Maker—once Count Nefaria—uses his mind-bending machine to trap Iron Man in a series of vivid nightmares, forcing him to face a parade of past foes: Jack Frost, the Crimson Dynamo, Black Knight, Melter, Gargantus, and the Unicorn. As the dream-scape grows more unstable, the Dream-Maker pushes his device to its limit, only to see it short-circuit and explode. Iron Man wakes, brushing it all off as a strange dream—though the echoes of the battle linger. Meanwhile, back in the real world, Pepper Potts calls to convince Iron Man to return from Ireland, where he’s been chasing a grumpy Happy Hogan who walked off in a huff.

In "Lest Tyranny Triumph!", Captain America and Bucky are captured by the Red Skull during World War II, plunging them into a dangerous test of loyalty as the villain attempts to turn Captain America into a weapon against his own allies. With the fate of the Allied cause hanging in the balance, the young soldier Shultz finds himself caught in the crossfire of a battle not just for freedom, but for the soul of a hero.
