Die ruhmreichen Rächer #76
In "Helden zu vermieten!", Iron Man finds himself trapped in a series of vivid nightmares orchestrated by the Dream-Maker—formerly Count Nefaria—forcing him to face his past foes in sleep. While battling these illusions, Iron Man journeys to Ireland to track down a disgruntled Happy, unaware the Dream-Maker is still manipulating events from afar. With Don Heck's dynamic art and Stan Lee's sharp storytelling, this 1977 classic blends psychological tension and superhero action, all wrapped in John Buscema and Tom Palmer’s striking cover.

The Dream-Maker (formerly Count Nefaria) creates hallucinations ("dreams") in which Iron Man must battle some of his former enemies in his sleep. Iron Man then travels to Ireland in pursuit of an unhappy Happy, who walked off in a huff last issue. The Dream-Maker continues to torment Iron Man. Iron Man battles bravely and a ranting Dream-Master feels he must add more power to his machine. This results in a short-circuit which causes the machine to explode. Iron Man dismisses the episode as just a dream. Meanwhile, Pepper calls Pepper and persuades him to return to the States.
