Tales from the DC Dark Multiverse #[nn]
In "Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Batman: Knightfall," a fractured Gotham endures under the iron rule of Jean-Paul Valley, now Saint Batman, three decades after Bane broke Batman's back and Azrael seized the mantle. With Gotham isolated and its people broken, the desperate son of Bane and a rogue Shiva seek to overthrow their tyrant—but only Bruce Wayne, imprisoned as a head and torso, may hold the key to their salvation. Written by Scott Snyder and Kyle Higgins, with Javier Fernández handling art and inks, and Alex Guimarães adding color, this chilling tale unfolds in a world where the legacy of Batman has become a nightmare. The cover, by Lee Weeks, captures the grim weight of this twisted Gotham.
