“Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Infinite Crisis”

In *Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Infinite Crisis* #1, writer James Tynion IV and artist Aaron Lopresti explore a chilling alternate take on the Infinite Crisis event, where Ted Kord survives Max Lord’s assassination attempt—and turns the tables. With Brother One and the O.M.A.C. project at his command, Ted reshapes the world to prevent the looming Crisis, but as his plan unfolds, the true cost of his choices begins to reveal itself. The cover by Lee Weeks captures the eerie weight of this twisted path, where power and paranoia spiral into something far darker.

Tempus Fuginaut observes a Dark Multiverse version of Infinite Crisis, where instead of Max Lord killing Ted Kord when he discovered his plans to control the world, Ted turns the tables and kills Max Lord. Then, Ted takes control of Checkmate and use Brother One and the O.M.A.C. project to change events to prevent the upcoming Crisis while the Justice League is unaware. Ultimately, Brother One calculates that the greatest threat to Earth are superheroes, so Ted takes steps to eliminate them.
