This striking cover by Leonard Kirk and Robin Riggs presents the entire image as an ancient stone relief carving — a robed, seated figure looming over a prone figure on what appears to be a sacrificial altar, all rendered in sandy monochrome while vivid red liquid drips ominously down from above. The title "Pyramid Schemes" hints at the Mesoamerican temple setting suggested by the stepped stonework and ritual imagery on display.
