Sonic Universe #24

The grand finale of "Treasure Team Tango" arrives in Sonic Universe #24, and the cover by Tracy Yardley and Jim Amash delivers a wonderfully chaotic collision of characters — Shadow firing off fiery energy blasts, Blaze the Cat launching her flames, Rouge soaring alongside Omega, Cream and Cheese scrambling through the mayhem, a robot-armored figure looming in the corner, and what appears to be a full squad of rivals all tangled up in a frantic treasure scramble. With four teams converging in Part 4 of 4, the cover perfectly captures the sense that every alliance, rivalry, and hidden agenda is coming to a head at once. Ian Flynn's script paired with Yardley's energetic linework made this 2011 Archie series a real treat for fans of the expanded Sonic universe.
