Sonic Universe #38

Part 2 of the "Scrambled" arc brings the mechanical mayhem front and center, with Metal Sonic swooping in fists-first while a figure trapped in a glowing energy sphere — surrounded by sparking, explosive chaos — fights off a squad of heavily armed Badnik robots. Watching it all unfold from the foreground is a shadowy, top-hatted figure who deadpans, "Now THAT'S entertainment!" — a darkly comic touch that gives the whole scene a theatrical flair. Archie's Sonic Universe was reliably delivering big action and sharp wit in 2012, and this cover promises more of both.
